This professional fine violin made by Adolf Hornsteiner in Mittenwald, the elegant style of its perfectly crafted, deeply carved scroll reflects the violin’s heritage. The inlaid purfling is very delicately applied and is clearly the work of a talented violin maker. The medium grained texture of the spruce used to make the top is rich in character and clearly visible under the golden-brown varnish.
