This antique French 1/2 violin from around 1920 has an especially attractive historic appearance, especially amongst the rare half-sized violins which feature a sound of good strength and pleasant warmth.
The small sound holes and gentle flaming of the two-piece maple back are a charming contrast with the pronounced and somewhat fluid lines of the moderately-grained spruce top.
