This beautiful antique French violin labeled with Laberte’s dated G. Fournier label was made in France.
The tastefully crafted arching, the typical scroll and the wonderfully flamed maple of the two-piece back determine the elegant appearance of the violin, which is completed by a luminous orange-golden-brown varnish. Meaningful traces from playing and patination indicate this Laberte G. Fournier violin has been well played.
The sound is bright and clear, mature, with a sweet and dark note. Suitable for professional music student.
