A powerful antique Bohemian violin built around 1890 as a very appealing and tonally successful Guarneri copy.
The top wood is beautiful regular spruce, the one piece back is flamed maple. The antiqued varnish is a beautiful bright orange-brown varnish over a lighter ground.
The sound is matured, big and radiant in the upper ranges, powerful and direct.
